Herdade da Matinha has its own soul and its full of stories. It is located in Aldeia do Cercal where the smell of the sea is combined with the shade of the oaks. Initially it was a family home, but has grown over time. Some facilities have been recovered, such as the dairy and the barn and the result are surprising!
The decoration of each room (20 in total) were based on natural elements that communicate with Alentejo’s landscape, in order to respect the surrounding nature. The decoration is a mix between traditional comfort and contemporary elegance. There are several activities that you can do during your stay at Herdade da Matinha, like the yoga practice or horseback riding.
