What to do?
Belver Castle has the status of a National Monument and is considered one of the most complete examples of Portuguese medieval military architecture, don’t miss the opportunity to see the view from its turret and walk along its rustic walls facing the Tagus River
Enjoy the magnificent panoramic view from the Outeirinho viewpoint, with privileged surrounds of the river, which winds its way between green hills and valleys. The environment is even more pleasant with the surrounding benches and trees.
Caminho da Fonte Velha is a footpath that takes us from the center of the village to an ancient fountain, along this path we find sculptures and even carvings in the granite stones of the adjacent wall.
Casa da Torre is a house with an Art Noveau facade where green toned tiles and a Tower in concrete stand out. A very pleasant stop!
Although this pillory is believed to be relatively recent, it’s worth paying a visit, as it’s always a memory to retain! It’s made of marble and has an armillary sphere at the top.
